Since my transition back into looking at Chicago Public School data was unexpected and hasty, I hadn’t kept up with the new formats for sharing data with the public.
Kudos to CPS. You are improving your data sharing strategy and transparency.
I’m seeing more Excel spreadsheets here and in the records submitted to the ISBE website. Still seeing PDF’s in some places at ISBE. But overall, it is easier access to data at the school level than I did back when I started looking at data in 2011. Especially budget data.
